KWR at IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition, Toronto 2024

IWA Toronto 2024

Event details

From Sunday 11 August to Thursday 15 August 2024, the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition is taking place in Toronto. This is the global event for water professionals, encompassing the entire water cycle. The congress, organized by the International Water Association (IWA), rotates through various cities and countries, emphasizing regional issues and interests. The Congress attracts thousands of professionals and companies from the water sector. Together, they generate new insights into how pioneering science, technological innovation, and leading practices shape water management.

Continued engagement in collaborative research for a water-wise world

Our world is constantly changing, bringing new challenges and opportunities, whether it’s climate change, a growing population or the intensification of economic activities. Therefore, we require collective and collaborative action to find new practices to match and exceed the pace of our changing environment. Action based on shared responsibility and collaboration across diverse people and sectors. Action that embraces dialogue and stimulates learning between and across generations, cultures and expertise. At KWR, we use this action to create new knowledge and stimulate innovation. We contribute to a water-wise world with models, technologies, and integrated solutions visible on the ground.

Showcasing and sharing Innovation and Expertise

At IWA Toronto, we showcase our collective water research achievements and activities, our repertoire of expertise, and the innovation capacity needed to transition to a water-wise world.

With an eye-catching booth and daily programming of state-of-the-art water research, we are once again creating momentum for ‘old friends’ and ‘new friends’ that cannot be overlooked. As a KWR delegation, we are known for our capacity to connect with people and share knowledge. Every one of us has a driving force for change in starting a dialogue with every booth visitor or congress delegate we meet.
