VolkerWessels and KWR launch Nexus building project

KWR and the VolkerWessels companies Aveco de Bondt, VolkerWessels iCity and VolkerWessels Vastgoed have signed a declaration of intent for the development of the new innovation campus in Nieuwegein. The event took place at PROVADA, the biggest real estate exhibition in the Netherlands. If all goes according the partners’ plans, the new Nexus building to accommodate 100 knowledge workers will spring up on the campus next to KWR’s existing high-end office.

KWR and Aveco de Bondt have declared their intention to commission 50 work spaces in the NEXUS building. For KWR and Allied Waters (both part of the KWH Holding), the Nexus development realises the ambition of bringing knowledge more quickly to the market by having different knowledge partners work together in a single building.

Aveco de Bondt sees KWR as an innovative and leading partner in the field of research and innovation. Research, development & design will be core activities on the campus. Insights developed in the areas of circularity, energy and water will be applied to support society’s drive in bringing a sustainable future a step closer.
