Water Europe appointed new Vision Leadership Teams

Water Europe is a European technology platform aiming at overcoming the fragmentation of the European water sector. The VLTs are about vision, leadership and teamwork. They define strategies and actions to foster and accelerate the transition towards a Water-Smart Society.

Digital transition

The Digital Water VLT provides strategies to address the challenges of the digital transition in the water sector. It focuses on the paradigmatic changes and adopts a systemic approach to address the complexity of interconnected ecosystems. The team aims to support the twin transition of the water and water-related sectors towards a Digital and Green Europe.

Circular water

The Circular Water VLT focuses on new circular models that enhance the ability of our society to recover, refine, reuse, repurpose, capture value from, and extend the use-life of water and its resources. The team aims to position European water and water-connected sectors as global circular economy forerunners.

Leader in innovation

Water Europe aspires to make the European water sector a global leader in innovation and technology by developing a common strategy and positioning water projects in Europe’s research and innovation programmes.
