Bram Hillebrand MSc

Bram Hillebrand is a scientific researcher in the Water Infrastructure team. After earning a Master’s in geophysics, he worked for four years on a PhD at Utrecht University in the field of mantle dynamics. Before joining KWR Bram worked for three years as a scientific software consultant. During this period he acquired extensive experience in fluid dynamics and numerical modelling. Due to the size of the distribution network, modelling is increasingly important for the Water Infrastructure team, as a way of obtaining a better overview of all of the dynamic processes within the network. He works in the team on several different modelling projects relating, among other things, to the influence of climate on water demand, distribution network design and the modelling of water demand patterns with the help of SIMDEUM.
