Djordje Mitrovic

Djordje is a new member of Water Infrastructure (WIS) team. As a part of WIS team he’ll primarily be working on the optimization of water distribution networks’ design. Such as defining the optimal DMA configuration to minimize the flow meters installation costs and maximize the sensitivity of the configuration to detect new leaks.
Djordje’s specializations are Pump As Turbine (PAT) technology, optimization and water distribution network modelling. He gained his expertise during his BSc and MSc studies at the University of Belgrade, PhD position at the Trinity College Dublin and postdoc at Bangor University. Djordje is the first author of three conference proceedings and three journal publications in Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management (ASCI) and Water (MDPI).
