Gaby van Doorn – Abelmann

Gaby van Doorn is a microbiological analyst, her work including research into the microbiological state of water, water pipeline materials and granular materials in the presence or lack of any pathogens. She uses classical microbiology, molecular microbiology and growth experiments and accurate reporting in LIMS, among other things. Gaby is in charge of putting together and implementing methods, templates, reports and worksheets to be used in LIMS. Configuring various modules and functions, validation, troubleshooting and maintaining the LIMS system. In addition, she provides training and is the first point of contact for LIMS users. This involves collecting points for improvement, developing new functionalities and solving problems.
