Gerda Sulmann MSc

As Senior Editor of Scientific Communication Gerda Sulmann provides both solicited and unsolicited advice to the management team and scientists on texts. She writes and edits items and articles for the various communication channels, including the digital KWR newsletters and the newsletter for the collective research for the water companies. She also writes and edits management abstracts of research reports. When doing so, Gerda focuses on readability and effective knowledge transfer between scientists and knowledge users: “bridging science to practice”. Following a degree in chemistry and working a few years as a scientific researcher, Gerda opted for a degree programme in scientific journalism. She previously used her combination of experience in science and knowledge of communications at (chemical) professional journals and specialised in beta sciences at a communications firm.
