Jeroen Geurts PhD

Jeroen is an ecology researcher on the Ecohydrology team. He researches the rewetting of peatlands, multifunctional use of buffer zones, paludiculture (‘wet agriculture’), soil and water quality, greenhouse gas emissions and nitrogen deposition. At Radboud University, where Jeroen remains a guest researcher, he coordinates various (European) projects in peatland rewetting, paludiculture and restoration measures. Jeroen has been conducting biogeochemical research in various ecosystems for almost 20 years.
