Ronald Italiaander BSc

Ronald Italiaander is the team leader and project manager of the Laboratory for Microbiology (LMB), head of proficiency tests and a researcher in (molecular) microbiology. He is the first point of contact and the one carrying final responsibility for the LMB’s activities (e.g. planning, budgeting or reporting analyses). Before becoming a team leader, Ronald worked as a research analyst in the lab and mainly did a lot of research in molecular microbiology. Together with other researchers, he developed and implemented new methods of analysis. Ronald was in charge of and coordinated the move from the lab to the new building. In 2015, under his lead the LIMS was implemented in the laboratories.
