Sabrina Keinemans

Sabrina Keinemans is a researcher in the Resilience Management & Governance team. She has extensive experience in social science research and, following her PhD in 2011, researched themes of justice, social inequality and citizen participation. In recent years, Sabrina has also focused on the issue of climate justice, and conducted research on perspectives on the climate transition. Qualitative empirical research in co-creation with stakeholders predominated in this, combined with theory on the functioning of democracy and society. Within KWR, her research focuses on citizen participation and customer perspectives on the water transition, as well as how this transition can take into account the diversity of stakeholders. Sabrina also has expertise in research ethics and integrity and was chair of the Research Ethics Committee at her previous employer. Currently, in addition to her work as a researcher, she is also a member of the Court of Audit in ‘s Hertogenbosch.
