Sandra Sikkema

In the field of Public Design, Sandra Sikkema studies different client perspectives, perceptions of water reuse and strategy development for legitimising water reuse. She explores how different types of clients use water and how they view saving water to better understand their wants and needs. She studies the perception and acceptance of both customers and employees regarding water related reuse. This includes developing strategies for the social acceptance and legitimisation of water reuse. By exploring ways to legitimise water reuse, she contributes to the creation of multiple values in the sustainability transition. Sandra graduated in International Land and Water Management, specialising in water, society & technology, at Wageningen University.
